This winner of the Gourmet Retailer's Award includes a light bisque with a beautiful meaty smoked salmon fillet. Mild and wonderful. . . there is no fishiness here!
Directions
In a kettle combine soup base with 5 cups hot water. Blend well with whisk. Remove salmon fillet from pouch onto plate. Remove skin and discard. Flake salmon with fork. Add salmon (with liquid) to soup mix. Stir. Simmer 60 minutes on low (do not boil), stir frequently.
Special Touches
Our soups are terrific just as they are. However, if you would like to add your own special touch, consider stirring in one of the following:
fresh dill
finely minced chives
garnish with either very thin lemon slices or herb seasoned croutons.
