CONTENTS
Connecticut Cottage CHICKEN NOODLE Soup Mix
Ribbon Fettuccini Noodle Packet
fresh ADDITIONS
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
6 cups chicken broth
1 whole, boneless chicken breast, cut up into small pieces
Optional: 1/4 cup white wine
cooking DIRECTIONS
In a 2 or 3-quart pot stir Soup Mix into melted butter over low heat. Add broth, turn up heat and bring to a boil. Add chicken breast pieces, reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes. Bring back to a full boil and add contents of Noodle Packet. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in wine, if desired. Turn off heat and allow to cool a few minutes before serving.
inventive VARIATIONS
For Frontier Soups' own House Special Fried Rice add 1 cup of long grain white rice while sauteing the vegetables. Stir in 4 cups chicken broth. Simmer on low 15 minutes. Add in noodles, simmer 10 minutes more until all liquid is absorbed and serve!
