WHISK SOUP MIX INTO SIX CUPS WATER AND BRING TO A BOIL, STIRRING
OFTEN. REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER UNCOVERED 10 MINUTES, STIRRING
OFTEN.
For Variety:
ADD COOKED CHICKEN, GREEN CHILIES, BLACK BEANS, CROUTONS
OR SOUR CREAM.

Laurie's Favorite Recipe-CHEESY CHICKEN AND BLACK BEAN SOUP
1-7.5 oz. PACKAGE LAURIE'S KITCHEN CHEDDAR PEPPER SOUP MIX
1-15 oz. CAN BLACK BEANS, DRAINED AND RINSED
1-14.5 oz. CAN DICED TOMATOES, DRAINED
1-4 oz. CAN DICED GREEN CHILIES
1-10 oz. CAN CHICKEN BREAST MEAT, DRAINED (OPTIONAL)
1 CUP SHREDDED COLBY-JACK CHEESE
Directions:
IN A 4-QUART SAUCE-PAN, WHISK TOGETHER WATER AND SOUP MIX.
ADD BLACK BEANS AND TOMATOES. BRING TO A BOIL, STIRRING OFTEN.
REDUCE HEAT AND ADD GREEN CHILIES, CHICKEN AND CHEESE. COOK
10 MINUTES, STIRRING OFTEN.
