Old World Italian cooks knew of the nutritional benefits of lentils. Millie's Lentil Soup combines lentils, spices, vegetables and pasta all together to make a superbly hearty soup!

Directions:
1.) Add contents to eight 8 ounce cups of boiling water (64 oz.).
2.) Simmer over low heat in a covered pot for approximately 30-40 minutes or until lentils are tender. stir occasionally.
3.) Put in soup bowl and drizzle with a tablespoon of Olive Oil. Serve with a loaf of crusty Italian bread and enjoy!
