Directions
In a kettle combine soup base with 5 cups of hot water. Blend well with whisk. Add potatoes and bacon. Stir. Simmer 45 minutes on low (don't boil); stir frequently.
Special Touches
- Our soups are terrific just as they are. However, if you would like to add your own “special touch”, consider stirring in one of the following:
- chives
- cubed ham
- grated cheese
- a dollop of sour cream
