The Lauries Kitchen chuck wagon just pulled in, and its serving up a beefy vegetable soup that makes a hearty meal. Just add water and one pound of browned ground beef. Our Kansas City Steak Soup combines an array of Midwest garden vegetables with just the right blend of savory herbs and spices.
Comes in two, three serving packets, six cups of soup total. Make 3 cups or 6 cups, your choice.
Directions:
- 1-1.7 oz. packet Lauries Kitchen Kansas City Steak Soup Mix
- 2 cups water
- 8 oz. ground chuck, round or sirloin
- Brown ground beef and drain
- Whisk soup mix into 2 cups water and add beef
- Bring to a boil, stirring often
- Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring often
For Variety: Add 1 cup shredded roast beef.
