Connecticut Cottage CHICKEN NOODLE Soup Mix
Ribbon Fettuccini Noodle Packet
fresh ADDITIONS
2 Tablespoons butter
6 cups chicken broth
3-4 cups shredded cooked chicken breast (about 2 large single breasts)
cooking DIRECTIONS
In a 4-quart pot stir contents of Soup Mix Vegetable Packet into melted butter over low heat. Add broth, turn up heat and bring to a boil. Add shredded chicken breast pieces, reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes. Bring back to a full boil and add contents of Noodle Packet. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 8-10 minutes. Turn off heat and allow to cool a few minutes before serving.
inventive VARIATIONS
For Frontier Soups' own House Special Fried Rice add 1 cup of long grain white rice while sauteing Soup Mix. Stir in 4 cups chicken broth. Simmer on low 15 minutes covered. Add in noodles, simmer 10 minutes more until all liquid is absorbed and serve as a side dish with chicken!
